The vineyards are on the upper slopes of the Montane de Beaune at around 300-370m, and just beneath the Beaune Premier Cru Les Bressandes. This is one of the oldest sites of the Côtes de Beaune appellation. Stunning nose, oysters and sea shore, ripe yellow plum, apple, butter, white flowers, rich almost weighty and oily on the palate. Would be wonderful with a buttery alpine cheese like Beaufort Chalet d’Alpage. A perfect white for Christmas main course, even partridge and quail.
