The terroir is very special with rugged limestone rock with thin layers of iron-rich red soil, exposed to strong winds from the Alps and sea breezes. This is an orange wine for those put off by overly tannic modern examples. Soft, not harsh or tannic, almost sweet but with no sugar, wonderful woodland, chestnut honey and dried fruits balanced by bright citrus notes.
