Named after Sergio’s mother, Melia, it is a very important wine for him. Her face is on the label. Barbera doesn’t carry the same cachet, and therefore price, as equivalent quality Nebbiolos making this wine an incredible proposition for the price. Incredibly sophisticated but also deeply pleasurable, silky and concentrated with black fruit and freshness with notes of truffle and woodland undergrowth. Refined enough to go with a roast chicken but will cope with darker meats and rich cheeses.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"La Fromagerie","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":59080164966774,"sku":null,"price":76.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0570\/3018\/0898\/files\/MeliaBarberad_AlbaE.Molina2022_c2a1768f-4642-4091-a19d-3ea48823ea53.jpg?v=1793021705","url":"https:\/\/lafromagerie.live\/products\/melia-barbera-dalba-superiore-doc-2021","provider":"La Fromagerie","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
